FELLOWSHIP “IN BETWEEN”

  Early service worshipers are invited to stay for coffee and fellowship immediately following the first service—“in between” the 8:30 service and Sunday School.  Weather permitting, coffee and fellowship will be enjoyed in the courtyard.  Adult Christian Education participants may join early worshipers for coffee, then begin CE classes at 9:45 a.m. (Note:  This change does not affect children’s CE, which will start at 9:30 a.m. as usual.)

     Scary Poppins – We will be going to Desert Star Playhouse on October 25th.   The play starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $20.00.  If you would like to join us for a no host dessert after the play at Mimi’s on State St. in Murray, please plan to do so.  We will start sign-ups for the play on September 14th. 

            Football Tailgating Activity—This has been cancelled for this year.

            Hanging of the Greens—December 6th.

      Senior Adult Fellowship—We will meet on September 26th at 12:00 noon for a potluck lunch and guest speakers/program in the Fellowship Hall.  Tom and Edwina Rosenbusch, friends of Robert and Karen Jurgens, have volunteered to provide a program on their trips to China.  They have taught English to Chinese English teachers  and toured China for the past two years.  Let Rose Mary Brockenbrough, 255-2466, know if you plan to attend so we will have enough tables and chairs.  If you are willing to help set up and provide table decorations, please contact either Diane and Frank McElwain, 942-1576, or Colleen and Eddie Alter, 278-5842.  Suggestions for speakers/programs can be given to either Rose Mary Brockenbrough or Eddie Alter.
